Reader Meetups
Reading Matters More Than You Think
Our data is clear: Children who read regularly are more likely to:

- Navigate complex academic and personal challenges
Imagine a program that does more than teach reading—a program that:
- Connects families through meaningful conversations
- Builds academic confidence
- Develops emotional intelligence
- Prepares children for any educational pathway
Our Unique Approach: Beyond Traditional Learning
Whether your child is homeschooled, in a magnet program, public school, or preparing for university, RAIN's programs are designed to meet them exactly where they are.
- K-5 Reader Meetups: Interactive sessions that make reading an adventure
- Teen & Caregiver Meetups: Tackling complex topics through thoughtful literature
- Caregivers Reader Meetups: Supporting caregivers as primary literacy champions
A Proven Partnership
Collaborating with Elizabeth's Bookshop & Writing Centre, we've created more than a reading program. We've developed a holistic approach to learning that:

1st Friday of Each Month at 7 PM
This parent-centered reader meetup provides a space for adult caregivers to connect, share experiences, and grow as role models in literacy. Each month, the group discusses a selected book—ranging from parenting guides to diverse, thought-provoking novels—provided in collaboration with Elizabeth’s Bookshop & Writing Centre. The program emphasizes creating a nurturing home atmosphere for reading while offering parents an opportunity to unwind, engage, and inspire one another.
